Dr. Neelesh Sharma is graduated in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry in 2001 from the College of Veterinary Science, Mhow (J.N.K.V.V., Jabalpur), Madhya Pradesh, India and post-graduated in Veterinary Medicine from College of Veterinary Science, Anjora, Durg (I.G.K.V.V., Raipur), Chhattisgarh, India. He has more than 8 years experience in teaching, research, and extension. Dr. Sharma started his professional career as Research Fellow at Faculty of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Jammu and later he joined as Assistant Professor in September 2005, in the same faculty. Dr. Sharma is an ICAR-International Fellow. He is the recipient of the Bronze Standard International Award by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. Dr. Sharma has conferred for IAAVR Merit Award-2011” by Indian Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Research, Bareilly, India. He has also received the best paper award by Indian Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Science (IAAVR), India and appreciation award from RIAM, Delhi. Dr. Sharma has worked as collaborating scientist in two National and one International (Angila Ruskin University, Cambridge, England) research projects. He has published more than 75 publications in journals of National and International repute. He has authored a laboratory practical manual of Veterinary Clinical Medicine-II and four books in veterinary science and contributed 09 chapters in books. His recent books are on Production diseases of dairy animals” and another on Bovine Mastitis by Neelesh Sharma et al., published by Satish Serial Publication House, Delhi. He is a life member of various scientific societies. He had been a reviewer and technical editor of International Journal of Dairy Science, Research Journal of Veterinary Sciences, Asian Journal of Animal Sciences, Asian Journal of Animal and Veterinary Advances, Vet Scan and regional editor of Pakistan Journal of Life Social Sciences. He is working as Assistant Professor, Division of Veterinary Clinical Medicine Jurisprudence, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, SKUAST-J, R.S. Pura-181 102, Jammu (J&K) India.
